Harry Kane - Toy Brand Creation

When international football player Harry Kane partnered with a leading toy company to launch his own branded football toys, I was challenged to establish the look and feel of the brand from the ground up. The brief was to create a visually dynamic identity that reflected Kane’s high-energy playing style and would connect with young football fans.

 

My Role

I worked across multiple areas of the project, including:

 

  • Brand look & feel: Developing a bold, sporty visual language to carry across the range.

  • Logo & packaging design: Creating packaging that stood out on shelves while clearly communicating play value.

  • Photography art direction: Leading shoots to capture impactful action imagery of Harry Kane, ensuring consistency with the overall brand aesthetic.

 

Creative Approach

The visual style was built around a fusion of high-intensity football action with vibrant, explosive graphics, designed to appeal to children and stand out in the competitive toy aisle. The packaging highlighted play features, while the brand mark and consistent color system reinforced recognition across the product line.

 

Outcome

The result was a cohesive toy brand that not only reflected Harry Kane’s persona but also delivered excitement and shelf impact. With multiple SKUs including the Goal Blaster, Volley Blaster, and Skills Ball, the range successfully combined sporting authenticity with fun, interactive play, helping the brand establish a strong presence in retail.
